SERVICE INFORMATION
Cochrane to Calgary: starting from Cochrane’s new transit and innovation hub, “The Station,” transit riders can connect to Calgary on the following routes:
- The Station to Brentwood LRT Station/University of Calgary – 4 trips per weekday
- The Station to Downtown Calgary – 2 trips per weekday
Calgary to Cochrane: arriving at The Station, transit riders can connect from Calgary on the following routes:
- Brentwood LRT Station/University of Calgary to The Station – 4 trips per weekday
- Brentwood LRT/University of Calgary to Cochrane commuters can board the bus at Stop 2 or 3 and disembark at Stop 4.
- Downtown Calgary to The Station – 2 trips per weekday
- Downtown Calgary to Cochrane commuters can board the bus from Stops 2-7 and disembark on Stop 8.
Note: Please book your COLT ride to arrive at the station 5 minutes in advance of your scheduled departure. Local COLT connections can be booked up to 30 minutes prior to the scheduled arrival time.
Note: Bikes are not permitted on the commuters, for any route. If you have any questions, please contact us.
On-It tickets are valid for COLT services, on same-day travel during regional service hours when connecting to/from an On-It bus. Please present your On-It ticket (printed or electronic) to the COLT operator on the bus to be able to transfer over.

How do I purchase a ticket?
Tickets for the service can be purchased through On-It’s booking website.
Complimentary COLT rides are only provided to and from The Station for On-It Pass Holders. If you require to get anywhere in Cochrane except for the Station, your trip can be booked using COLT’s booking website or by downloading the Ride COLT app on the App Store or Google Play. If you require assistance you can also call the COLT call center: 403-851-5995.
On-It customers can use their pass to ride COLT from 5:45 – 9:30 am and 3 – 8 pm. Passengers must verify their pass with the bus driver both their On-It and COLT trips. By booking through the Ride COLT system, you are able to reserve your space on the bus and get real time location updates.
